I also teach Spanish! I have experience teaching all levels of Spanish as a second language, including AP. I have also taught Native Spanish speakers and co-wrote the Heritage Speakers curriculum in Denver Public Schools. I am a firm believer in Dr. Stephan Krashen’s Comprehensible Input Hypothesis and implement it in my mixed-level Spanish classes. We use gestures, stories, reading, and comprehensible verbal input to promote language acquisition.
